Emily and William’s wedding at Live Oak Wedding Venue was as warm and genuine as their love for each other. The ceremony took place outside, right by the pond, where the setting felt peaceful and natural—just like the couple themselves. Surrounded by family and friends, they exchanged vows under a giant tree. It was a simple yet beautiful day, full of love, laughter, and the kind of moments that make you appreciate what truly matters. For Emily and William, it was the perfect way to start their life together—surrounded by nature, loved ones, and a sense of calm and joy that will stay with them forever.

What moment were you most looking forward to seeing in the photos/video?
The ceremony, walking down the aisle shots. -William
How did you two meet? (Tell us all those little details!)
We were paired as lab partners in our college Biology course.

Tell us about THE dress! What made you fall in love?
The dress is classic and unique. I wanted something timeless that would withstand trends and dad's. Something I will look back on in 50 years and still think is beautiful and elegant.
What was your first dance song, and why did you choose it?
Like by Real People Do by Hozier. We just like it.
Describe what you felt when you saw your bride on your wedding day:
It was a lot. I was nervous all day up until that point, and finally seeing her in her dress that I had not seen but had heard her describe was a feeling I cannot replicate. I was excited, amazed, and very much in love with what I saw. -William

Describe what you felt when you saw your groom on your wedding day:
I thought he looked so handsome! I was completely overwhelmed by everything, but seeing him at the end of the altar grounded me. I was also surprised that he cried! He is not really a crier. -Emily
What was the most emotional part of the day for you?
Dancing with my dad for sure. He bawled throughout the whole thing and I have NEVER seen that man cry, not even when his own dad passed. My dad has always been a pretty stoic guy, so seeing him cry like that was definitely a bonding moment for us. -Emily
What was the most emotional part of the day for you?
Seeing Emily for the first time and the ceremony that followed. Watching her walk down the aisle was very emotional. -William
What is ONE moment of your day that you will always remember?
Our first dance and our private last dance.

Favorite part of the Phocus Experience?
Everyone was so flexible and accommodating. We were confident our photos would be beautiful.
We're excited to finally share some from their wedding day! Thanks for letting us capture such a gorgeous day! Congrats to Mr. and Mrs. GOULD!!
