Presenting Mr. & Mrs. Turnbow 🥂🤍✨

Alli & Cru’s wedding was our first ever wedding at The Sanctuary Event Venue and my goodness was it BEAUTIFUL! Not ony was the venue and decor stunning, but so was the couple! These two ooze love and admiration for eachother.

My favorite part of their wedding was how they did everything after the ceremony. Instead of going straight into the reception, the couple chose to have a private dinner between just the two of them while the rest of the guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the Deed Restriction area of the venue. Because of this, the couple got to mingle with all of their guests during the dinner in the upstairs Sanctuary where they held their toasts from friends and family. During that whole time, the ceremony area in the courtyard was magically being flipped into the party area where everyone danced the night away! I was blown away how it all came together!

Besides our beach, Pensacola is most known for our adorable and quaint downtown area—specifically Palafox St. It gives the perfect “city vibe” to your photos

📍The Pine House
This modern cabin is tucked away amongst the most beautiful pines that make you feel like you just escaped to a cabin in the woods.

A swanky and glam cocktail lounge right on Palafox.

📍NAS Pensacola
Our Navy Base has some of the coolest spots to take photos. We love doing photos at the museum and the Lighthouse

Another cocktail lounge that feels like a tropical oasis

Located right off the main Downtown area is Pensacola’s oldest historic district. We love taking photos here and in Seville Square

📍AMC Theatre

Congrats to all of y’all that got engaged over Thanksgiving! Here’s all the first things you have to tackle now that you’re in your Fiance’ Era 💍✨

1. Pick your date and venue. These two things pretty much go hand in hand because your venue really does determine your date! Everything on your wedding will built around these two things, so you have to make sure these are nailed down first!
2. Hire your wedding planner. If you’re going to have a planner, make sure to get one early on to help with picking the rest of your vendors.
3. Hire your wedding photo/video team. I cannot stress it enough how important it is to get this early on too! Photographers/Videographers are one of the first vendors to get their calendars full. Unlike other vendors who can take multiple weddings/events per day, Photographers/Videographers often can only take 1 wedding per day. Make sure to get them booked before someone else does.
4. Find your dress. Due to shipping and alterations time, you want to make sure you order your dress pretty early on.

After these 4 things are checked off your To Do List, you can start tackling things like catering, florals, and other details.

There are so many details involved with planning your wedding. If you are not using a wedding planner for your 2025 wedding, you are gonna want to write these commonly forgotten details when wedding planning:

💍 Who is cutting the cake? Many Brides choose to have family members or close friends outside of the bridal party help with this.
💍 Who is responsible for breaking down and cleaning up everything after the day is done? Depending on your venue, there may be a crew to help with this. If not, make sure to choose reliable friends/family to help with it all.
💍 Plan around the weather and sunset. Make sure you have a backup plan in case it rains (because….Florida 🤣) and also know what time sunset is! You do NOT want blue hour photos!
💍 Have a designated person to answer all questions and issues on the wedding day. The Bride does not need to be this person!

There are so many details involved with planning your wedding. If you are not using a wedding planner for your 2025 wedding, you are gonna want to write these commonly forgotten details when wedding planning:

💍 Who is cutting the cake? Many Brides choose to have family members or close friends outside of the bridal party help with this.
💍 Who is responsible for breaking down and cleaning up everything after the day is done? Depending on your venue, there may be a crew to help with this. If not, make sure to choose reliable friends/family to help with it all.
💍 Plan around the weather and sunset. Make sure you have a backup plan in case it rains (because….Florida 🤣) and also know what time sunset is! You do NOT want blue hour photos!
💍 Have a designated person to answer all questions and issues on the wedding day. The Bride does not need to be this person!

Presenting the winners of this year's Gulf Coast Grand Wedding Giveaway, Mr. & Mrs. Lange 🥂🤍✨

Wow, y'all!! This wedding has been such an incredible experience to be part of. We announced earlier this year that we were teaming up with Pensacola's top wedding vendors to do the ultimate wedding giveaway for one lucky couple. Lesley & Brandon applied, made it to our Top 5 candidates and then went to WORK. Y'all, this girl was literally passing out flyers on the beach to random people asking for their vote! They put in so much effort to win, and I cannot think of a more deserving couple.

I personally have loved every single second of getting to know Lesly & Brandon along this journey. They are two of the kindest and genuine people you will meet. I have loved learning about their love story and their journey to the wedding day. These two are truly meant for each other, and I am so glad we got to part of their wedding day.
